Hello and welcome to my website!

My name is Celia Heritage and I am a professional genealogist and also a lecturer in family history.

My aim is to bring your past alive for you! Whether this means designing a Family History talk, class, lecture or workshop, advising you on your research or undertaking research for you, I hope you will find something here to suit your needs.

The popularity of Family History in the twenty-first century is immense, and learning about your past is highly rewarding with many people finding that it gives them a sense of belonging to learn more about where they come from!

Many people do not have sufficient time to carry out their own research, or find they need to travel to other parts of the country in order to continue with their research and are unable to do so.

If you are researching your family history yourself, even the more experienced find that from time to time they need a helping hand. I can offer the support you need, whether it be giving you advice about particular problems you are having in your research, carrying out research for you, or through my various Family History courses and tuition sessions.
